Education and Background
Dr. Amy C. Madden Kinney, DDS graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1995 after attending the University of Wyoming for her undergraduate studies in Biology and Psychology.
Dr. Todd A. Kinney, DDS graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1995 with after receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology with high honors from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1991. Dr. Kinney is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and he served as president of the Montana Academy of General Dentistry from 2002-2003 and is a past-president of the Sixth District Dental Society of the Montana Dental Association.
Dr. Amy is a native from western Nebraska where her family farmed and ranched. Dr. Todd hails from Billings, Montana and has lived in Montana for past 35 years. Parents of three young children, one dog, one cat and a horse, Drs. Amy and Todd enjoy their family time skiing, fly fishing and golfing in Big Sky Country. Drs. Amy and Todd are actively involved in many community activities and national charitable organizations, both professionally and personally.
Drs. Amy and Todd have been in private practice together since 1995. Upon moving to Bozeman in 1997, they established their private care Health-Centered practice with an emphasis in Bioesthetic Dentistry.

As Level IV graduates of The OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry and Charter Members of the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry, Drs. Amy and Todd have achieved one of the highest marks of distinction in advanced dental education and special technical training in the diagnosis and treatment of complex dental problems. They have developed a special interest in helping patients who suffer from bite problems, facial and headache pain, and TMJ disorders, and sleep disorders.
With their unique training and expertise in Bioesthetic Dentistry and Biologic Orthodontics, Drs. Kinney offer a variety of treatments to restore worn, damaged and missing teeth with exceptionally functional and esthetic results. Instead of taking a 'just fix it' approach to dentistry, their whole-person philosophy to dentistry looks at the big picture of a person's health, listening to their personal concerns and objectives, and helping them create an oral health strategy that will work for life.
Professional Affiliations
Drs. Amy and Todd are founding instructors and mentors for The Center for Advanced Biologic Orthodontics, CABODENT, an educational organization designed to provide dental professionals with systems-based Biologic Orthodontic™ training.
They are also proud to be members of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and the Holistic Dental Association (HDA). These organizations include dentists, physicians, and allied health professionals who are dedicated to improving the quality and delivery of comprehensive, biologic dentistry, public education, health promotion, and wellness. Members of these organizations are the strongest advocates of Mercury-Free Dentistry and peer-reviewed scientific research, education, and public promotion of biological dentistry and whole-body patient health.
Drs. Amy and Todd are also alumni of the Schuster Center for Professional Development. It is the first and only business school designed exclusively for dentists who aspire to technical excellence and personalized patient service. The Schuster Center for Professional Development provides effective and ethical practice development training to dentists pledged to providing only the highest standard of quality care to their patients.
